Meet Fredrik who works as a Chief Purchasing Officer
What could an ordinary day look like for you?
In my role, I am responsible for the entire Purchasing Team and our stores, and I work to support a great team of Category Managers, Assortment & Sales Managers, Product Managers, Buying & Replenishment Assistants to achieve our common goals and find solutions to any challenges that arise. We are responsible for the strategy around buying and selling and we are committed to maintaining our market leading position whilst constantly looking for new opportunities to exceed our customer's expectations.
What is the best part of working at Jollyroom?
The best thing about Jollyroom is the energy and focus of the company. Great responsibility in all roles and a clear vision. There are also great opportunities to grow and develop. I joined the company as Assortment and Sales Manager, then got the chance to try the role as Category Manager, then the role as a Business Area Manager and finally landing my current role as CPO.
What personal qualities do you think are important to enjoy working at Jollyroom?
Some key attributes that are suitable for every role are: flexible, we constantly analyse the current situation, and it can change quickly. Open and communicative, we are a large company with many teams and a working interaction is key to success.
How do you spend your free time?
When I'm not working, I spend time with my family. We are often out on various little adventures or relaxing in the summer cottage. When I get the chance, I like to go to a good music gig or visit a new restaurant.
