Head of Development
Jollyroom was founded in 2010 and is now the largest online child and baby shop in Scandinavia. We are currently one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in Europe. We have more than 2,000,000 customers and have everything you need for children aged 0 to 12 and a large choice of products for expecting and pregnant mothers. In our 75,000 square meter warehouse, we have more than 35,000 products from many new and well-known brands. A great range of products, an easily accessible website, quick delivery, and a great costumer service are the foundation which makes Jollyroom the obvious choice in all families’ everyday life.

We look for a lead developer to head our team of inhouse developers and consultants. Your job is to foster quality and holistic solutions and ensure that Jollyroom has top class solutions.

Some more details about the job:
You and your team will be responsible for:
- Architecture, development and technical quality for all end-to-end software solutions at Jollyroom. Including website solution, ERP, BI among others
- Plan and execute development projects and initiatives
- Together with the Process Developers/Product Owners design and develop and roll out solutions that continuously improve and enhance our everyday business
- Continues improvement and performance optimization
- Secure continuous high performing operation of critical systems
The Head of Development reports to the CTO and is a part of the IT management team, together with Head of Process Development & Product Owners.
The role is based in Göteborg.
To succeed in the role:
- You will need a couple of years prior experience of leading a software development teams or/and working as an enterprise or web architect
- Good knowledge of ecommerce or/and retail
- Love to bring the best possible end-to-end solutions to the people
- Broad software and tech knowledge
- Love to drive continous improvement and create structure
