Meet Matilda who works as an HR Partner
What could an ordinary day look like for you?
My duties are very diverse, but a typical day usually involves recruitment, search, communication with and support of managers, union negotiations and strategic HR work.
What is the best part of working at Jollyroom?
Wow, lots! One of the absolute best things about Jollyroom is the development opportunities. I started as an intern when I was studying, then of course I said yes to starting as an HR Assistant straight after graduating, before moving into the HR Partner role in 2017. Jollyroom is a fun company where a lot happens, and we are constantly working towards becoming even better. Then there are the absolutely fantastic and passionate colleagues who help and challenge each other. Our newly built, light-filled premises with staff gym is also a great advantage!
What personal qualities do you think are important to enjoy working at Jollyroom?
That you enjoy working in a company that never stands still, so being change-oriented and flexible. If you are also positive and innovative and like to work in a place where you can influence and make a difference, you will enjoy working with us!
How do you spend your free time?
I prefer to spend my free time with my family on some fun activity. I like to bake and cook for friends and family, so you'll usually find me in the kitchen making something new.
How do you make life easier for families with children in your role?
I make life easier for families with children by recruiting the best employees who in turn provide great service, develop the website, pack parcels or other important parts for our customers. Like me, many of our employees have children, so the fact that Jollyroom has a union contract, a health and fitness allowance, a gym at work and cares about its employees also makes life easier for us.
